2. Important Safety Warnings
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
- Always ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before placing a child in the playard or using the changing table.
- Never leave your child unattended in the playard or on the changing table.
- The maximum weight capacity for the bassinet and changing table is 20 lbs. The maximum weight capacity for the playard is 33 lbs.
- This product is suitable for children from 0-36 months old.

4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your BABY JOY Pack and Play:
- Unfolding the Playard:
- Take the playard out of its carrying bag and keep it standing vertically.
- Pull up the short armrests until they lock into place.
- Pull up the long armrests until they lock into place.
- Once all four side rails are locked, firmly press down the center of the bottom base until it is fully extended and flat.
It is crucial that all four corners are pushed down and locked before pressing the center base. You will hear a 'snap' when the sides are correctly locked.

- Inserting the Mattress Pad:
- Place the foldable mattress pad firmly into the bottom of the playard. Ensure it lies flat and covers the entire base.

- Attaching the Bassinet (for newborns):
- Align the bassinet with the top rails of the playard.
- Securely attach the bassinet hooks or clips to the designated points on the playard frame. Ensure it is stable and level.
- Attaching the Changing Table:
- Hook the changing table onto the top rail of the playard. Ensure it is securely fastened and stable before use.

- Installing Music Box and Storage Bag:
- Attach the music box and hanging toys to the designated arm on the playard.
- Attach the storage bag to any armrest for easy access to essentials like diapers and bottles.

5. Operating Modes
The BABY JOY Pack and Play offers three distinct modes to support your child's development:
- Bassinet Mode: Ideal for newborns (0-6 months or up to 20 lbs). The removable bassinet provides a cozy and elevated sleeping space, making it easier to access your baby.
- Playard Mode: For infants and toddlers (up to 36 months or 33 lbs). Once your child can push up on their hands and knees, or reaches the weight limit of the bassinet, remove the bassinet and use the full-sized playard. The breathable mesh on all sides allows for better observation and air circulation.
- Changing Table Mode: The water-resistant changing table can be attached to the playard for convenient diaper changes. Always ensure it is securely fastened before placing your child on it.

6. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your Pack and Play:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the fabric and frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh abrasives or bleach. Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing.
- Mattress Pad: The mattress pad is water-resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Fabric: The oxford fabric is durable and easy to clean.
- Frame: The anti-rust iron frame can be wiped clean as needed.

7. Storage and Portability
The BABY JOY Pack and Play is designed for easy folding and transport:
- Folding the Playard:
- Remove the mattress pad, bassinet, changing table, and any accessories.
- Pull the red tab located at the center of the bottom base upwards until the base begins to fold.
- While holding the center tab, pull up on the side rails (you will hear a 'snap' as they unlock) and fold them inwards.
- Continue folding the playard until it is compact.

- Using the Carrying Bag:
- Once folded, secure the playard with the provided straps.
- Place the folded playard and mattress pad into the convenient carrying bag.

- Lockable Wheels:
- The playard features 2 lockable wheels for easy movement around your home. Engage the brakes when the playard is in a stationary position to ensure stability.
