Setup

Initial Charge

Before using your grooming unit for the first time, ensure it is fully charged. Connect the charging cable directly to the unit or place the unit in the charging dock and connect the cable to the dock. Plug the adapter into a standard power outlet. The LCD display will show the battery percentage, indicating charging progress. A full charge typically takes approximately 90 minutes and provides up to 2.5 hours of cordless operation.

Attaching Blades and Guide Combs

To attach a specific trimming head (Hair Clipper, Beard Trimmer, or Detail Trimmer), align the head with the top of the main unit and gently press down until it clicks securely into place. To remove a head, push it off from the front. For desired hair length, select the appropriate guide comb and slide it onto the trimming head until it locks. The unit also features a 5-degree tunable blade, adjustable from 0.5mm to 2.5mm by rotating the dial located just below the blade.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

To turn the grooming unit on or off, simply press the power button located on the front of the device. The LCD display will illuminate, showing the current battery capacity as a percentage.

Hair Clipping

For general hair clipping, attach the hair clipper head and select the appropriate guide comb for your desired length. Move the clipper slowly and steadily against the direction of hair growth for an even and consistent cut. Ensure the blades are clean and lubricated for optimal performance.

Beard Trimming

For beard trimming, you can use either the beard trimmer head or the detail trimmer head, depending on the precision required. Adjust the precision dial or attach a suitable guide comb to achieve your preferred beard length. Trim your beard using smooth, even strokes, following the contours of your face.

Detail Trimming

The detail trimmer head is specifically designed for creating sharp lines, defining edges, and intricate designs. Use this head without a guide comb for the closest possible trim. Exercise caution and precision when using the detail trimmer for delicate areas.

Maintenance

Cleaning

The Hatteker grooming unit is designed to be fully washable, allowing for quick and hygienic cleaning. After each use, simply rinse the trimming head and the main unit under running water to remove hair and debris. For a more thorough clean, detach the trimming head and use the provided cleaning brush to clear any trapped hairs from both the head and the internal mechanism of the unit. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storage or next use.

Blade Lubrication

To maintain the sharpness and smooth operation of the blades, it is recommended to apply a small drop of the included lubricating oil to the blades after every few uses, especially after cleaning. Turn the unit on for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly across the blades.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Turning On

• Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Check the LCD display for the battery percentage.
• Verify that the power button is pressed firmly and held for a moment if necessary.

Poor Cutting Performance

• Clean the blades and remove any trapped hair or debris using the provided brush.
• Apply a small drop of lubricating oil to the blades.
• Ensure the correct trimming head and guide comb are securely attached and properly aligned.
• If the issue persists, the blades may be dull and require replacement.

Skin Irritation

• Ensure blades are clean and well-lubricated. Dull or dirty blades can cause pulling and irritation.
• Trim against the direction of hair growth for a smoother cut, but adjust technique if irritation occurs.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure to the skin during use.
