2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Always place the air purifier on a firm, level surface.
  • Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, never put the cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiators, stoves, or heaters.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use the air purifier outdoors.
  • Do not use the air purifier in wet environments such as bathrooms or laundries.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the ventilation or exhaust opening.
  • Do not block air outlets or intakes.
  • Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, and before cleaning or servicing.
  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

4. Setup

4.1. Unpacking

  1. Remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all plastic bags and protective materials.

4.2. Filter Installation

The filters are typically pre-installed but may be sealed in plastic for freshness. Ensure all plastic packaging is removed from the filters before use.

  1. Turn the unit upside down and twist the base counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  2. Carefully remove the filter assembly from the unit.
  3. Remove any plastic packaging from the filter.
  4. Place the filter back into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Replace the base and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

4.3. Placement

For optimal performance, place the air purifier in a location where it can effectively circulate air throughout the room. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture that might obstruct airflow.

4.4. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the unit.

5. Operating Instructions

The Medify MA-15 features a touch control panel for easy operation.

5.1. Power On/Off

Press the power button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

5.2. Fan Speed Adjustment

The MA-15 offers 3 fan speeds. Press the fan speed button repeatedly to cycle through low, medium, and high settings.

5.3. Timer Function

Use the timer button to set the operating duration. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time period.

5.4. Sleep Mode

Activate Sleep Mode for quiet operation and dimmable control lights, ideal for nighttime use. Press the sleep mode button to engage this feature.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your air purifier.

6.1. Filter Replacement

The 3-in-1 filter should be replaced approximately every 2,500 hours of use, or every 3-5 months, depending on air quality and usage. A filter indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the base counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
  4. Insert a new Medify MA-15 replacement filter, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
  5. Replace the base and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
  6. Plug in the unit. Press and hold the filter reset button for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

6.2. Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
