8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your lamp, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lamp does not turn on. | No power supply. Loose wiring connection. Faulty wall switch. | Check the circuit breaker. Ensure power is off, then check wiring connections. Test the wall switch with another device or consult an electrician. |
| Dimming function not working correctly. | Incorrect toggling of the wall switch. Incompatible dimmer switch (not required for this lamp). | Ensure quick OFF/ON toggles for step dimming (see Section 6.1). This lamp uses a standard wall switch for dimming; do not use an external dimmer. |
| Lamp flickers. | Loose wiring connection. Unstable power supply. | Ensure power is off, then check all wiring connections. Consult an electrician to check your home's electrical system. |
| Light output is too low. | Lamp is in a dimmed state. | Toggle the wall switch to cycle through brightness levels until 100% is reached. |
