Setup and Installation
The Kalia Electric Radiator is designed for wall mounting. A mounting kit is included.
1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable wall location, ensuring adequate clearance from furniture, curtains, and other flammable materials. The radiator is intended for indoor use, ideal for living rooms or children's rooms.
2. Wall Mounting: Use the provided wall mounting kit to securely attach the radiator to the wall. Ensure the mounting is stable and can support the weight of the radiator (approximately 8.8 kg).
3. Electrical Connection: Connect the radiator to a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the electrical installation complies with local regulations. The radiator is Class II IP20 rated.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Use the main power switch to turn the radiator on or off. The LCD display will illuminate upon power-on.
2. Mode Selection: The radiator offers 4 operating modes:
- Comfort: Maintains a comfortable set temperature.
- Eco: Operates at a slightly lower temperature than Comfort mode to save energy.
- Frost-Free: Maintains a minimum temperature to prevent freezing (e.g., 7°C).
- Normal: Standard heating operation.
Use the control buttons to cycle through and select your desired mode.
3. Temperature Setting: Adjust the desired temperature using the up/down buttons. The set temperature will be displayed on the LCD.
4. Programming: The radiator includes 9 pre-installed programs and supports daily and weekly programming. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed programming instructions. This allows you to set specific temperatures for different times of the day or week.
5. Open Window Detection: This feature automatically detects a sudden drop in temperature (e.g., when a window is opened) and temporarily pauses heating to conserve energy. Heating resumes once the window is closed or after a set period.
6. Overheating Protection: The radiator is equipped with an overheating protection system that automatically shuts off the unit if it reaches an unsafe temperature. It will automatically re-arm once cooled.
Maintenance
The Kalia Electric Radiator requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Ensure the radiator is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Removal: Periodically remove dust from the vents and surfaces using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment to ensure efficient operation.
