6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your tectake® desk, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the desk surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these can damage the lacquered MDF finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability and safety.
  • Protection: Avoid placing hot items directly on the desk surface. Use coasters or protective pads if necessary.
  • Storage: If storing the desk for an extended period, ensure it is in a dry, temperate environment to prevent material degradation.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your tectake® desk, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Desk is wobbly:
    - Check that the desk is placed on a flat, even surface.
    - Ensure all assembly screws and bolts are securely tightened. Re-tighten if necessary.
