Setup

Powering On

To power on your Powerbeats, locate the power button on the right earbud. Press and hold the power button until the blue indicator light turns on. This indicates the earphones are powered on and ready for use.

Bluetooth Pairing

With the Powerbeats powered on, press and hold the power button again until the blue light begins to flash. This signifies that the earphones are in pairing mode. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), navigate to the Bluetooth settings and select 'Powerbeats' from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process. Once connected, the blue light will stop flashing and remain solid.

Operating Your Powerbeats

Controls

The Powerbeats feature intuitive controls directly on the right earbud:

• b button: Press once to play/pause audio or answer/end calls. Press twice to skip forward, or three times to skip backward.
• Volume controls: Use the dedicated volume up and down buttons to adjust audio levels.
• Voice Assistant: For iOS devices, simply say "Hey Siri" to activate Siri. For other compatible devices, long-press the b button to activate your voice assistant.

Wearing Your Powerbeats

The adjustable, secure-fit earhooks are designed to maximize comfort and stability, ensuring your Powerbeats stay in place during rigorous activities. To wear, gently place the earbud into your ear canal and wrap the earhook securely around the back of your ear. Adjust the earhook for a snug yet comfortable fit. When not in use, the connecting cable allows the earphones to hang around your neck, preventing loss.

Maintenance

Charging

Your Powerbeats provide up to 15 hours of listening time. When the battery is low, a 5-minute Fast Fuel charge can provide 1 hour of playback. Connect the included Lightning to USB-A charging cable to the charging port on the earphone and plug the USB-A end into a compatible power source.

Water and Sweat Resistance

The Powerbeats feature a reinforced, sleek design for sweat and water resistance, making them suitable for tough workouts or running. While resistant, they are not waterproof and should not be submerged in water. After intense workouts, it is recommended to wipe down the earphones with a dry, soft cloth to remove sweat and moisture.

Cleaning

Regularly clean your Powerbeats to maintain optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the earbuds and earhooks. For ear tips, remove them from the earphones and clean with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before reattaching.

Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the earphones are charged. Connect them to the charging cable and a power source.
• Cannot Pair: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Place the Powerbeats in pairing mode (flashing blue light). If issues persist, try forgetting the device on your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
• No Sound or Low Volume: Check the volume levels on both your Powerbeats and your connected device. Ensure the earphones are properly seated in your ears for optimal sound delivery.
• Intermittent Connectivity: Move closer to your connected device to reduce interference. Ensure there are no physical obstructions between the earphones and your device.
• Controls Not Responding: Try restarting your Powerbeats by powering them off and then on again.
