3. Product Overview

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the radio's internal lithium battery. Connect the supplied micro USB cable to the radio's micro USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will illuminate. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playback.
4.2. First Power On and Auto Scan
- Ensure the earphones are plugged into the 3.5mm jack, as they act as the antenna.
- Press and hold the Power button to turn on the radio.
- Upon first power-on, the radio will automatically perform a full scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes.
- Once the scan is complete, the radio will tune to the first available station.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power button to turn the radio on or off.
5.2. Mode Selection (DAB/FM)
Press the MENU/INFO button repeatedly to cycle between DAB and FM modes.
5.3. Tuning in DAB/DAB+ Radio
- In DAB mode, use the Navigation buttons (◀►) to browse through the list of available stations.
- Press the ENTER/MUTE button to select a station.
- To perform a full scan for new stations, press and hold the MENU/INFO button, then select 'Full Scan' from the menu.
5.4. Tuning in FM Radio
- In FM mode, press the Navigation buttons (◀►) to manually tune the frequency.
- To auto-scan for the next available station, press and hold the Navigation buttons (◀►).
5.5. Saving and Recalling Presets
The radio allows you to store up to 20 preset stations (10 DAB, 10 FM).
- To Save a Preset: Tune to your desired station. Press and hold the PRESET button. Use the Navigation buttons (◀►) to select a preset number (1-10). Press ENTER/MUTE to confirm.
- To Recall a Preset: Press the PRESET button briefly. Use the Navigation buttons (◀►) to select your desired preset. Press ENTER/MUTE to tune to the station.
5.6. Volume Control
Use the VOL + and VOL - buttons to adjust the listening volume. Press ENTER/MUTE briefly to mute the audio.
5.7. Headphone Use
Plug the supplied earphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening. The earphones also function as the antenna for optimal reception.

5.8. Dynamic Range Control (DRC)
For compatible DAB radio stations, the Dynamic Range Control (DRC) feature can be enabled to balance the sound in noisy environments. Access this setting via the MENU/INFO button in DAB mode.

6. Maintenance
- Clean the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid exposing the radio to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
- Do not immerse the radio in water.
- If the radio will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
No Power / Radio Not Turning On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the radio to a USB power source using the provided cable.
- Check if the power button is being pressed and held correctly.
Poor Reception / No Stations Found
- Ensure the earphones are fully plugged into the 3.5mm jack, as they function as the antenna.
- Try moving to a different location, especially near a window, to improve signal strength.
- Perform a full scan for DAB stations (refer to section 5.3).
- For FM, try manually tuning or auto-scanning again.
No Sound
- Check the volume level using the VOL + button.
- Ensure the radio is not muted (press ENTER/MUTE).
- Check the earphone connection.
