5. Battery Information
5.1 Charging
Always use the provided 2A Off-Board charger. Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area. Avoid overcharging by disconnecting the charger once the battery is full. Regular charging helps maintain battery life.
5.2 Range
The operating range depends on the battery capacity and usage conditions:
- With a 12V 12AH SLA Battery: Up to 9-10 miles per charge.
- With a 12V 18AH SLA Battery (optional): Up to 18 miles per charge.
Factors such as user weight, terrain, and speed can affect the actual range.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Clean the scooter regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or direct water spray, which can damage electrical components.
6.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the scooter in a dry, cool place. Ensure the battery is fully charged before storage and periodically recharge it every few weeks to prevent deep discharge.
6.3 Tire Care
The scooter is equipped with durable 200X50 PU (Polyurethane) tires, which are puncture-resistant and require minimal maintenance. Periodically check for debris or damage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your scooter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Scooter does not power on: Check battery connection and ensure the battery is charged. Verify the on/off switch is engaged.
- Reduced range: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Battery performance can degrade over time; consider battery replacement if range significantly decreases.
