2. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED strip light:

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Dust, dirt, or moisture can compromise the adhesive's effectiveness.
2. Measure and Cut (Optional): If a shorter length is required, the LED strip can be cut at designated marks (usually indicated by a scissor icon or copper pads). Ensure the power is disconnected before cutting.
3. Remove Adhesive Backing: Carefully peel off a small section of the 3M adhesive backing from the strip. Avoid touching the adhesive side to maintain its stickiness.
4. Apply the Strip: Press the exposed adhesive section firmly onto the prepared surface. Gradually peel more of the backing while pressing the strip along the desired path.
5. Secure with Clips (Optional): For added security, especially on textured surfaces or corners, use the provided mounting brackets and fixing clips.
6. Connect Power: Connect the LED strip to the dimmer, and then connect the dimmer to the 24V power adapter. Ensure all connections are secure.
7. Plug In: Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

• Power On/Off: Rotate the knob on the dimmer clockwise to turn the lights on. Continue rotating clockwise to increase brightness. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease brightness and turn the lights off.
• Dimming: The dimmer allows for stepless adjustment of brightness from 10% to 100%. Adjust the knob to achieve your desired lighting level.
