1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials from the box.
  2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  3. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.

3.2 Placement

3.3 Initial Cleaning

  1. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  2. Remove the frying basket and pan. Wash them thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  3. Rinse and dry all parts completely before reassembling.

3.4 First Use (Burn-in)

During the first use, a slight odor or smoke may be emitted due to manufacturing residues. This is normal and will dissipate quickly.

  1. Plug the air fryer into a grounded wall outlet.
  2. Set the temperature to 200°C and the timer to 10 minutes.
  3. Allow the appliance to run empty for 10 minutes in a well-ventilated area.
  4. Once complete, unplug and let it cool down completely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Controls Overview

4.2 General Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Prepare your ingredients as desired. For best results, pat dry foods like chicken or fish. Lightly oiling some foods can enhance crispiness.
  2. Place Food: Pull out the frying basket by its handle. Place the food into the basket. Do not overfill the basket; ensure there is enough space for air to circulate.
  3. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket back into the air fryer until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature dial to your desired cooking temperature. Refer to the cooking guide on the appliance or a recipe for recommendations.
  5. Set Timer: Turn the timer dial to the required cooking time. The air fryer will begin heating. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Shake Basket (Optional): For some foods, especially smaller items like fries, it is recommended to shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. Carefully pull out the basket, shake, and reinsert. The air fryer will resume cooking.
  7. Completion: When the timer reaches zero, the air fryer will automatically shut off and a bell will sound.
  8. Remove Food: Carefully pull out the frying basket. Use heat-resistant tongs to remove the cooked food. Be cautious of hot steam.
  9. Cool Down: Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning or storing.

4.3 Cooking Guide (Approximate)

The following table provides approximate cooking times and temperatures. Adjust as needed based on food quantity and desired crispiness.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Frying Basket and Pan: Remove the frying basket and pan. Wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residues, soak them in hot water with dish soap for about 10 minutes. The basket and pan are non-stick, avoid using metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials.
  3. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  4. Clean Interior: Wipe the inside of the appliance with a damp cloth. For any food residue on the heating element, use a soft brush to gently remove it after the appliance has cooled.
  5. Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the appliance.
  6. Storage: Store the cleaned and dried air fryer in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air fryer does not turn on. Appliance not plugged in.
Frying basket not inserted correctly.

Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet.
Push the frying basket firmly until it clicks into place.
Turn the timer dial to the desired cooking time.
Food is not cooked evenly. Basket is overfilled.
Food not shaken/flipped.
Do not overfill the basket. Cook in smaller batches if necessary.
Shake or flip food items halfway through cooking.
White smoke coming from the appliance. Grease residue from previous use.
High fat content food.
Clean the frying basket and pan thoroughly after each use.
For high-fat foods, drain excess oil from the pan during cooking.
Food is not crispy. Not enough oil (for some foods).
Temperature too low or time too short.
Lightly brush or spray food with oil.
Increase temperature or cooking time slightly.
