Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the DOYO Wireless Wii Guitar Hero Controller, designed for use with Nintendo Wii and Wii U consoles. It is compatible with all Guitar Hero titles and Rock Band 2 & 3 games. This controller enhances your music rhythm gaming experience with its ergonomic design and responsive controls.

Setup

1. Assembly

The DOYO Wireless Wii Guitar Hero Controller features a detachable neck for convenient storage and transport. To assemble, align the neck with the guitar body and slide it into place until it clicks securely. To detach, press the release button located on the back of the guitar body near the neck joint and slide the neck out.

The guitar body and the long neck are separable, reducing the footprint for storage.

2. Connecting the Wii Remote

The guitar controller is powered by and connects to a standard Wii Remote (not included). Open the compartment on the back of the guitar body. Insert your Wii Remote into the designated slot, ensuring the connector cable is properly plugged into the remote's expansion port. Close the compartment cover securely.

The Wii Remote Control slot allows for easy connection and secure holding of the Wii Remote.

3. Synchronization

Once the Wii Remote is inserted, synchronize it with your Wii or Wii U console as you would with any other Wii accessory. Press the SYNC button on the console and then the SYNC button on the Wii Remote (usually found inside the battery compartment or under a small cover).

Maintenance

Cleaning Contact Points

If you experience intermittent disconnections or unresponsive buttons, prolonged use or non-use may cause oxidation of the device's contact points. To resolve this, gently wipe the contact points with a cotton swab lightly dampened with alcohol or use a pencil eraser to clean them. Ensure the contacts are dry before re-inserting the Wii Remote.

Controller Not Responding / Frequent Disconnections

• Check Wii Remote Connection: Ensure the Wii Remote is securely inserted into the guitar controller's slot and the connector cable is firmly attached.
