Setup Instructions
1. Battery Installation
The SMARTRO K28 scale requires 4 AAA batteries (included). Before first use, or when the "LO" indicator appears, install or replace the batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Important: Remove any plastic insulating strips from the battery terminals if present. These strips prevent battery drain during storage and shipping.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To power on, press the "ON/TARE" button. The display will show "8888" and then "0" or "0.0".
- The scale features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery life. It will turn off after a period of inactivity.
- To manually power off, press and hold the "ON/TARE" button for approximately 3 seconds.
2. Unit Conversion
The scale supports 7 measurement units. To switch between units, press the "UNIT" button repeatedly until the desired unit is displayed.
- Available Units: grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds:ounces (lb:oz), water-milliliters (water-ml), water-fluid ounces (water-fl.oz), milk-milliliters (milk-ml), milk-fluid ounces (milk-fl.oz).

3. Tare Function
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, enabling you to weigh only the ingredients.
- Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the "ON/TARE" button. The display will reset to "0" or "0.0".
- Add your ingredients to the container. The display will show the net weight of the ingredients.

4. Weighing Procedure
- Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface and powered on, displaying "0" or "0.0".
- Place the item(s) directly onto the center of the scale platform, or in a tared container.
- Read the weight displayed on the clear digital screen.

1. Cleaning
