Setup

Charging the Trimmer

1. Ensure the trimmer is turned off.
2. Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the trimmer.
3. Plug the adapter into a suitable electrical outlet (120V-240V).
4. Allow the trimmer to charge for approximately 1 hour for a full charge. A full charge provides up to 60 minutes of run time.
5. The trimmer can be used corded while charging if needed.

Attaching Guide Combs

1. Select the desired guide comb length. The combs are marked with their respective lengths (e.g., 1/16", 1/8", etc.).
2. Align the guide comb with the trimmer blade.
3. Snap the comb firmly onto the blade until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, gently lift the back of the comb and slide it off the blade.

Operating Instructions

General Trimming Tips

• For best results, use the trimmer on clean, dry hair.
• Always start with a longer guide comb and gradually reduce the length if desired.
• Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
• Overlap strokes to ensure all hair is cut.

Haircutting

1. Attach the desired guide comb.
2. Turn on the trimmer.
3. Begin cutting from the nape of the neck, moving upwards.
4. Use the ear taper combs for blending around the ears.
5. For the top of the head, use a longer comb or a comb-over-finger technique.

Beard Trimming

1. Ensure your beard is clean and dry.
2. Attach a suitable guide comb for your desired beard length.
3. Trim against the grain of your beard growth.
4. For detailing and outlining, remove the guide comb and use the bare blade carefully.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Blades

The self-sharpening precision ground blades are rinsable and detachable for hygienic grooming.

1. Turn off the trimmer and unplug it from the power source if corded.
2. Detach the blade set by pushing it away from the trimmer body.
3. Use the cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades and the trimmer body.
4. Rinse the detached blades under running water. Ensure the trimmer body does not get wet.
5. Allow the blades to air dry completely before reattaching.

Oiling the Blades

To maintain optimal performance and blade longevity, oil the blades regularly.

1. After cleaning and drying the blades, apply 2-3 drops of Wahl blade oil across the top of the blades.
2. Turn on the trimmer for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly.
3. Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth.

Storage

Store the trimmer and its accessories in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use the provided storage pouch/case to keep all components together and protected.
