4. Setup and Installation
The Havit H2002D Gaming Headset offers broad compatibility. Follow these steps to connect your headset to various devices:
4.1 PC Connection
- Connect the headset's single 3.5mm jack to the included audio splitter cable.
- Plug the green 3.5mm jack from the splitter into your PC's audio output (headphone) port.
- Plug the pink 3.5mm jack from the splitter into your PC's microphone input port.
- Connect the USB plug to a free USB port on your PC to power the headset's RGB lighting.
4.2 Xbox One Connection
For Xbox One controllers without a 3.5mm jack, a Microsoft Stereo Headset Adapter (not included) is required. If your controller has a 3.5mm jack:
- Plug the headset's single 3.5mm jack directly into the 3.5mm port on your Xbox One controller.
- The USB connection is not used for audio or microphone on Xbox One, only for RGB lighting if desired and if the console provides power.
4.3 PS4 / PS5 Connection
- Plug the headset's single 3.5mm jack directly into the 3.5mm port on your PS4 or PS5 controller.
- The USB connection is not used for audio or microphone on PlayStation consoles, only for RGB lighting if desired and if the console provides power.
4.4 Mobile Device Connection
- Plug the headset's single 3.5mm jack directly into the 3.5mm headphone jack of your mobile device.
- The USB connection is not used for mobile devices.
