Setup Guide

1. Unpack and Clean: Remove all packaging materials. Wash the removable water tank, drip tray, basket filter, and capsule container holder with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Place the Brewer: Position the coffee brewer on a flat, stable surface near an electrical outlet.
3. Fill Water Tank: Remove the 30 oz water tank from the back of the unit. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the desired level (max 30 oz). Replace the tank securely onto the brewer.
4. Initial Rinse Cycle: Before first use, perform a rinse cycle without coffee. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Close the lid (without a pod or ground coffee). Select the largest brew size (14 oz) and press the K-Cup or Ground button to start. Discard the hot water. This cleans the internal components.

Operating Instructions

Brewing with K-Cup Pods:

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Lift the brewer handle to open the lid.
3. Insert a K-Cup pod into the capsule container holder.
4. Lower the handle firmly until it clicks, piercing the pod.
5. Place your mug on the drip tray. Adjust the drip tray height if using a travel mug.
6. Press the "SIZE" button to cycle through the available brew sizes (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz) until your desired size is illuminated.
7. Press the "K-CUP" button to begin brewing. The light will flash during brewing and turn solid when complete.
8. Once brewing is complete, carefully lift the handle to remove the used K-Cup pod and discard.

Brewing with Ground Coffee:

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Lift the brewer handle to open the lid.
3. Insert the basket filter into the capsule container holder.
4. Add your desired amount of ground coffee (typically 1-2 tablespoons per 6 oz) into the basket filter. Do not overfill.
5. Lower the handle firmly until it clicks.
6. Place your mug on the drip tray. Adjust the drip tray height if needed.
7. Press the "SIZE" button to select your desired brew size.
8. Press the "GROUND" button to begin brewing. The light will flash during brewing and turn solid when complete.
9. Once brewing is complete, carefully lift the handle to remove the used basket filter and discard grounds.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee brewer.

1. Daily Cleaning: After each use, remove and empty the drip tray. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Remove and rinse the capsule container holder and basket filter.
2. Water Tank Cleaning: Periodically clean the removable water tank with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, allow it to air dry completely to prevent slime buildup.
3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the brewer with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
4. Descaling (Monthly or as needed): Over time, mineral deposits can build up. To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Run several brew cycles until the tank is empty. Then, run several cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly.
