Introduction

Setup

  1. Unpack the Scale: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Remove Protective Film: Before first use, detach the blue protective film from the stainless steel weighing platform.
  3. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the two AAA 1.5V DC batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  4. Placement: Always use the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid soft, uneven, or vibrating surfaces to ensure accurate measurements.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • To turn the scale ON, press the ON/OFF button briefly. The LCD display will light up and show "0".
  • To turn the scale OFF, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

2. Unit Conversion

The scale supports multiple units of measurement. You can switch between them by pressing the UNIT button.

  • Available units include: grams (g), pounds (lb), ounces (oz), kilograms (kg), milliliters (ml for water), and milliliters (ml for milk).
  • Press the UNIT button repeatedly to cycle through the available units until your desired unit is displayed.

3. Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or previously added ingredients, enabling you to measure subsequent items accurately.

  1. Place an empty container (e.g., a bowl or plate) on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the Z/T button. The display will reset to "0", effectively subtracting the container's weight.
  3. Add the ingredients you wish to weigh into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the ingredients.
  4. You can repeat the tare process multiple times to measure different ingredients in the same container.

Troubleshooting
