1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Beko HBA7608W Hand Blender. This versatile appliance is designed to simplify your kitchen tasks, offering powerful blending, chopping, and whisking capabilities. With its 700W motor, 12 adjustable speeds, and turbo function, it's perfect for preparing creamy purees, sauces, creams, minced meat, dried fruits, and various vegetables. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids. Clean with a damp cloth only.
  • Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from moving blades during operation to prevent injury and/or damage to the appliance.
  • Blades are sharp. Handle with care.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present and in good condition upon opening the package:

4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.

4.1. Assembling the Blending Shaft

  1. Align the blending shaft with the motor unit.
  2. Twist the blending shaft clockwise until it locks securely into place.
  3. To detach, twist counter-clockwise and pull apart.

4.2. Assembling the Chopper Attachment

  1. Place the double blade assembly onto the central pin inside the chopper bowl.
  2. Place the chopper lid onto the chopper bowl, ensuring it fits snugly.
  3. Attach the motor unit to the chopper lid by aligning and twisting clockwise until it locks.

4.3. Assembling the Whisk Attachment

  1. Insert the double whisks into the whisk gear box.
  2. Attach the whisk gear box to the motor unit by aligning and twisting clockwise until it locks.

5. Operating Instructions

Ensure the appliance is properly assembled and plugged into a suitable power outlet (220-240V, 50-60Hz).

5.1. Speed Control and Turbo Function

The Beko HBA7608W features 12 adjustable speeds and a turbo function for optimal control over your blending tasks.

  • Adjustable Speed: Rotate the speed dial on the top of the motor unit to select your desired speed from 1 to 12.
  • Power Button: Press and hold the main power button (marked with 'I') to operate the blender at the selected speed.
  • Turbo Function: For maximum power and quick results, press and hold the "turbo" button. This will activate the highest speed regardless of the dial setting.

5.2. Using the Hand Blender

  1. Attach the blending shaft to the motor unit.
  2. Immerse the blending shaft into the ingredients. Ensure the blades are fully submerged.
  3. Press and hold the power button or turbo button to start blending.
  4. Move the blender up and down gently to ensure even blending.
  5. Release the button to stop.
  6. Note: Do not operate continuously for more than 3 minutes. Allow the appliance to cool down before resuming.

5.3. Using the Chopper Attachment

  1. Place ingredients into the chopper bowl. Do not overfill.
  2. Assemble the chopper attachment as described in Section 4.2.
  3. Press and hold the power button or turbo button in short pulses until desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Release the button to stop.

5.4. Using the Whisk Attachment

  1. Assemble the whisk attachment as described in Section 4.3.
  2. Place the whisks into the ingredients (e.g., egg whites, cream).
  3. Press and hold the power button or turbo button to start whisking.
  4. Move the whisk gently to incorporate air.
  5. Release the button to stop.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your appliance.

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  • Blending Shaft, Chopper Blades, Whisk Attachment, Measuring Cup, Chopper Bowl: These parts are detachable and can be washed in warm soapy water or placed in the dishwasher (top rack recommended for plastic parts).
  • Caution: The blades are very sharp. Handle with extreme care during cleaning.
  • Dry all parts thoroughly before storing.

7. Troubleshooting
