3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your carrier immediately.
3.2 Placement
- Place the unit on a strong, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance on the back and sides for proper ventilation.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
3.3 Caster Installation
The unit comes with wheels for mobility. Attach the casters to the designated points on the bottom of the unit using the provided hardware. Ensure all casters are securely tightened.
3.4 Power Connection
Plug the unit into a dedicated 110V, 60Hz, grounded electrical outlet. Do not use adapters or extension cords.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Startup
After installation, allow the unit to sit for at least 2 hours before plugging it in. This allows refrigerants to settle. Once plugged in, the unit will begin cooling to its preset temperature of 0°F (-18°C).
4.2 Temperature Control
This model operates at a fixed temperature of 0°F (-18°C) and does not feature adjustable temperature control.
4.3 Loading Capacity
The froster has a capacity for approximately (90) 8-inch mugs or (85) 10 oz. steins. Arrange items to allow for proper air circulation for optimal frosting.
4.4 Defrost System
The unit features an automatic defrost system, minimizing the need for manual defrosting.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Interior
Regularly clean the interior with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.
5.2 Condenser Coil Cleaning
The condenser coils should be cleaned every 30 days or as needed to ensure efficient operation. Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the coils located at the back of the unit.
5.3 Door Gasket Maintenance
Inspect door gaskets regularly for cracks or tears. Clean gaskets with warm water and mild soap. Ensure they form a tight seal to maintain temperature.
