Setup Guide

Follow these steps to prepare your Canon EOS R for use:

1. Charge the Battery: Insert the LP-E6N battery pack into the included battery charger and connect it to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
2. Insert Battery and Memory Card: Open the battery/card compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. Insert the charged LP-E6N battery pack. Insert a compatible SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-II recommended) memory card into the card slot until it clicks into place. Close the compartment cover securely.
3. Attach the Lens: Align the red index mark on the RF24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM lens with the red index mark on the camera body's lens mount. Rotate the lens clockwise until it clicks securely into place.
