3. Setup
3.1 Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Mistral MIF401R Inverter Stand Fan:
- Unpack all components from the box and ensure all parts listed in Section 2.1 are present.
- Attach the stand pole to the base, securing it firmly with the provided screw/nut from underneath the base.
- Mount the fan head unit onto the top of the stand pole, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
- Attach the rear grille, then the fan blade, and finally the front grille, securing them with the respective nuts/clips. Refer to the detailed assembly diagram in the separate assembly guide if provided.
3.2 Placement
Place the fan on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the fan for proper air circulation and oscillation. Avoid placing it directly against walls or near loose fabrics.
4. Operating Instructions
Plug the fan into a suitable power outlet. The fan can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the multi-function remote control.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control to turn the fan on or off.
- The LED display will illuminate when the fan is on.
4.2 Speed Selection
- Press the SPEED button repeatedly to cycle through the 12 available speed settings.
- The current speed level will be shown on the LED display.
4.3 Oscillation Control
- Press the OSC button to activate or deactivate the left & right oscillation function.
- The fan head will sweep from side to side when oscillation is active.
4.4 Timer Function
- Press the TIMER button to set the fan to automatically turn off after a specified period.
- Each press will increase the timer setting by 1 hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours. The set time will be displayed on the LED.
4.5 Silent Mode
- Press the SILENT button to activate a low-noise operation mode, ideal for sleeping or quiet environments.
- Press again to return to normal operation.
4.6 Smart Memory Auto-Save
The fan is equipped with a smart memory function that automatically saves the last used speed and oscillation settings. When the fan is turned on again, it will resume operation with these saved settings.
4.7 Convertible Height Adjustment
To adjust the fan's height, loosen the height adjustment knob on the stand pole, raise or lower the inner pole to the desired height, and then tighten the knob firmly to secure it in place.

5.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or polishes as these may damage the finish.
- To clean the fan blades and inside the grilles, carefully remove the front grille (refer to assembly instructions for reverse steps). Wipe the blades and grilles with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
- Do not immerse the fan in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.
5.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in its original packaging or cover it to protect it from dust. Store in a cool, dry place.
