Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your Litever Under Cabinet Lighting Kit:

1. Prepare the Surface

Ensure the surface where the LED strips will be mounted is clean, dry, and even. This is crucial for the adhesive tape to stick firmly.

2. Choose Your Mounting Method

The flexible LED strips can be installed using two methods:

• Method 1: Self-Adhesive Tape

  Peel off the protective backing from the strong self-adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Press the LED strip firmly onto the prepared surface, starting from one end and working your way to the other to ensure a secure bond.

• Method 2: Mounting Clips and Screws

  For a more secure installation, use the included mounting clips and screws. Position the clips along the length of the LED strip and secure them with screws. It is recommended to use 5 clips per 20-inch strip.

3. Connect the Components

Connect the LED strips to the power adapter and ON/OFF switch using the provided extension cables and connector adapters. Ensure all connections are secure.

Use the cable ties to manage and hide excess wiring for a neat installation.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, operate your Litever Under Cabinet Lighting Kit as follows:

• Power On/Off: Use the inline ON/OFF switch to control the lighting.
• Optional Accessories: For enhanced control, you can integrate optional Litever LED dimmers, PIR motion sensor switches, or cabinet-door-activated switches (sold separately).

Maintenance

The LED strips are sealed within a transparent protective silicone hose, which helps protect them from static, dust, and moisture. To clean the strips, simply wipe them gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the strips in water.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your lighting kit, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Lights not turning on:
  • Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and properly inserted.
  • Verify that the power adapter is correctly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position.
• Lights flickering or dim:
  • Check for loose connections.
  • Ensure the power adapter is providing sufficient power (check specifications).
  • If using optional dimmers, ensure they are compatible and correctly installed.
• Adhesive not holding:
  • Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned and dry before application.
  • For a more permanent solution, use the included mounting clips and screws.
