4. Setup and Installation

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Mounting Bracket: Fix the main mounting bracket to the back of the range hood using 6 screws.
  2. Position the Range Hood: Lift the range hood and place it against the wall at the desired height.
  3. Mark Screw Hole Locations: While holding the hood in place, mark the 4 screw hole locations on the wall through the mounting bracket.
  4. Install Expansion Bolts: Drill holes at the marked locations and insert 4 expansion bolts into the wall.
  5. Secure the Range Hood: Hang the range hood onto the expansion bolts and tighten the screws to secure it firmly to the wall.
  6. Install Upper Chimney Bracket: Mark the 2 screw hole locations for the upper chimney bracket on the wall, above the main unit. Insert 2 expansion bolts into the wall.
  7. Install Vent Adapter: Attach the vent adapter to the top of the range hood using 6 screws.
  8. Connect Ducting: Connect the flexible aluminum duct to the vent adapter. Secure it with screws at the front and rear. Extend the duct to the outside if using ducted ventilation.
  9. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  10. Install Chimney Sections: Place the lower chimney section over the range hood. Lift the upper chimney section and slide it into place, securing it to the upper chimney bracket with 4 screws.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning Grease Filters:

The stainless steel baffle filters are dishwasher safe and designed to trap cooking grease and oil. Clean them regularly (monthly or as needed, depending on cooking frequency).

  2. Remove the filters by pulling the spring release handle and gently lowering the filter.
