Setup Instructions
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove the antenna and extension cable from their packaging.
- Antenna Connection: The antenna features an SMA Female connector. Align the antenna connector with the SMA Male port on your ham radio device. Gently screw the antenna onto the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
- Extension Cable Use (Optional): If relocating the antenna, connect the SMA Female end of the extension cable to your ham radio's SMA Male port. Then, connect the SMA Male Right Angle end of the extension cable to the SMA Female connector of the Bingfu antenna. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Antenna Folding: The antenna can be folded for storage or tactical use. Use the included hook-and-loop strap to secure the folded antenna.

Operating Instructions
- Antenna Positioning: For optimal performance, position the antenna vertically and as high as possible, away from obstructions like buildings, trees, or metal objects.
- Radio Operation: Once the antenna is securely connected, operate your ham radio device according to its specific user manual. The Bingfu antenna is designed to enhance the radio's signal capabilities within the specified frequency range.
- Relocation Cable Benefits: The extension cable allows you to mount the antenna on a backpack or other gear, keeping the radio unit more accessible while maintaining an elevated antenna position for better range.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the antenna and cable with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the antenna and cable for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion, especially at the connectors.
- Storage: When not in use, store the antenna in a cool, dry place. The foldable design allows for compact storage.
Troubleshooting
- Poor Signal Reception/Transmission:
- Ensure all connections (antenna to radio, extension cable to antenna/radio) are secure and finger-tight.
- Verify the antenna is positioned vertically and has a clear line of sight.
- Check your radio's settings and ensure it is operating on the correct frequency band.
- Test the antenna with a different compatible radio if possible to rule out radio issues.
- Physical Damage: If the antenna or cable appears physically damaged, discontinue use and consider replacement.
