1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before assembling and using the Infanti IDARA Playard and Crib. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• Weight and Age Limits: Do not use this product for children weighing more than 15 kg (33 lbs) or who can climb out unaided. The upper bassinet level is intended for infants up to 9 kg (20 lbs) or until they can push up on their hands and knees.
• Environmental Conditions: Do not expose the playard to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or harsh weather conditions.
• Structural Integrity: Do not place heavy objects on the railing or any part of the playard structure. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before placing a child in the playard.
• Choking Hazard: Keep small parts and packaging materials out of reach of small children.
• Assembly and Care: Always read and follow the assembly and care instructions provided in this manual. Regularly inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
• Supervision: Never leave your child unattended in the playard.

2. Product Overview and Features

3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required. Follow these steps carefully to ensure proper and safe setup of your Infanti IDARA Playard and Crib.

3.1 Unfolding the Playard

1. Remove the playard from its carry bag.
2. Stand the playard upright. Ensure the center base is not pushed down yet.
3. Pull up on the center of each side rail until it locks into place. You should hear an audible click. If a rail does not lock, pull it up firmly until it does.
4. Once all four side rails are locked, push down the center base of the playard until it lies flat and is securely in place.

3.2 Installing the Bassinet Level (for newborns up to 9 kg)

1. Locate the bassinet fabric and support tubes.
2. Attach the support tubes to the designated slots on the playard frame, ensuring they are securely fastened.
3. Lay the bassinet fabric over the support tubes and secure it to the playard frame using the provided clips or zippers.
4. Place the mattress pad inside the bassinet, ensuring it lies flat and covers the entire surface.

3.3 Attaching the Changing Table

1. Align the changing table attachment points with the corresponding slots on the playard's side rail.
2. Press down firmly until the changing table clicks into place. Ensure it is stable and secure before use.
3. To detach, press the release buttons (if applicable) and lift the changing table off.

3.4 Installing the Canopy and Mosquito Net

1. Insert the canopy support rods into the designated pockets on the playard.
2. Drape the mosquito net over the canopy and secure it around the edges of the playard to prevent insects from entering.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Wheels and Brakes

The playard is equipped with wheels for easy movement and brakes for stability.

• To Move: Release the wheel brakes by flipping the brake levers upwards. Gently push the playard to its desired location.
• To Secure: Once in position, press the brake levers downwards on both wheels until they lock. Ensure the playard is stable before leaving your child unattended.

4.2 Folding the Playard for Storage or Travel

Ensure the bassinet level, changing table, canopy, and any accessories are removed before folding.

1. Pull up the center base handle until the base begins to collapse.
2. Locate the release buttons or levers on the center of each side rail. Press these buttons while simultaneously lifting the rail slightly to unlock it.
3. Once all four rails are unlocked, push them downwards towards the center.
4. Gather the playard into a compact bundle. Secure it with the provided straps and place it in the carry bag.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Instructions

• Fabric Parts: Wipe fabric surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
• Frame: Clean the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Mattress Pad: The mattress pad can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure it is completely dry before use.
• Mosquito Net: Hand wash the mosquito net with mild soap and water. Air dry.

5.2 Storage

When not in use, store the playard in its carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Infanti IDARA Playard, please refer to the following common problems and solutions.

• Side Rails Not Locking: Ensure the center base is not pushed down before attempting to lock the side rails. Pull each rail up firmly until it clicks into place. If a rail still doesn't lock, try wiggling it slightly while pulling up.
• Playard Not Folding: Ensure the center base is pulled up completely before attempting to unlock the side rails. All accessories (bassinet, changing table, canopy) must be removed.
• Difficulty with Assembly: If instructions are unclear or parts seem misaligned, double-check all steps. Sometimes, a firm but gentle force is needed to align components. If a part appears damaged or defective, do not force it.
• Wobbly Playard: Ensure all side rails are fully locked and the center base is pushed down flat and secure. Check that the wheels are locked if the playard is stationary.
