Setup

1. Connecting the GSX 300

  1. Connect the Micro-USB end of the provided USB cable to the Micro-USB port on the back of the GSX 300.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your PC.
  3. Connect your gaming headset's 3.5 mm audio jack to the headset port (marked with a headphone icon) on the back of the GSX 300.
  4. Connect your microphone's 3.5 mm jack to the microphone port (marked with a microphone icon) on the back of the GSX 300.

2. Software Installation (EPOS Gaming Suite)

For full functionality, including 7.1 surround sound and customizable sound profiles, install the EPOS Gaming Suite software. This software is compatible with Windows 10 and 11.

  • Visit the official EPOS website to download the latest version of the EPOS Gaming Suite.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  • Restart your computer if prompted.

Operating the GSX 300

Volume Control

The large dial on the front of the GSX 300 controls the audio output volume. Rotate the dial clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume. The LED ring around the dial indicates the current volume level and mode.

Customizable Smart Button

The small button located below the volume dial is a customizable smart button. By default, it allows you to switch between stereo and 7.1 surround sound modes. Within the EPOS Gaming Suite, you can configure this button to switch between different sound profiles or other functions.

EPOS Gaming Suite Features

The EPOS Gaming Suite provides advanced control over your audio experience:

  • 7.1 Surround Sound: Activate and customize the EPOS-engineered 7.1 surround sound for enhanced positional audio.
  • Sound Profiles: Create and save custom sound profiles optimized for different games or media types.
  • Equalizer: Adjust audio frequencies to fine-tune your sound.
  • Microphone Settings: Configure microphone gain, noise cancellation, and noise gate settings.
  • Windows 10 Synchronization: The device automatically synchronizes with Windows 10 sound settings, allowing you to monitor sound levels directly from your operating system.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EPOS GSX 300, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials.
