3. Ensuring Stability

Operating the Tripod
1. Adjusting the Pan Head
The 3-way pan head allows for smooth adjustments. Use the long handle to pan (horizontal movement) and tilt (vertical movement) your device. Loosen the corresponding knobs to adjust, then tighten to secure the position.

2. Vertical Shooting (Portrait Mode)
To switch to vertical shooting mode, loosen the knob on the side of the pan head that allows for 90-degree tilt. Adjust your camera or phone to the desired vertical orientation and then tighten the knob to secure it.
3. Using the Bubble Level
A built-in bubble level on the tripod head helps ensure your setup is perfectly horizontal, which is crucial for landscape photography and panoramic shots.
Maintenance
- Clean the tripod regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the tripod to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals.
- Ensure all locking mechanisms are free of dirt and debris for smooth operation.
- Store the tripod in its carry case when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches.
Troubleshooting
1. Tripod is unstable:
Ensure all leg section clips are fully locked. Extend the legs evenly. Use the counterweight hook if necessary. Verify the rubber feet are properly seated on the surface.
2. Pan head movement is stiff:
Check if the pan and tilt knobs are sufficiently loosened. Clean any debris from the moving parts. Do not force adjustments.
3. Quick release plate not securing:
Ensure the plate is correctly aligned with the tripod head's slot and pushed in until it clicks. Verify the locking lever is engaged.
