2. Safety Information

Controls and Display Elements:

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Insert the small end of the supplied power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. The unit will power on or enter standby mode.

5.2 Antenna

For optimal DAB/DAB+ and FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the top of the unit.

5.3 Initial Setup (Auto Scan)

Upon first power-on, the unit may automatically perform a full scan for DAB/DAB+ stations. If not, follow these steps:

1. Press the MODE button to select DAB mode.
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Rotate the SELECT/VOL+ knob to navigate to "Full Scan" or "Auto Scan" and press the knob to confirm.
4. The radio will scan for available stations and store them. This may take a few minutes.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Radio Modes (DAB/DAB+/FM)

The Muse M-112 DBT supports both digital (DAB/DAB+) and analog (FM) radio broadcasts.

Selecting a Radio Mode:

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through DAB, FM, and Bluetooth modes.

Navigating Stations:

• In DAB mode, rotate the SELECT/VOL+ knob to browse available stations. Press the knob to select a station.
• In FM mode, rotate the SELECT/VOL+ knob to fine-tune frequencies. Press and hold the SELECT/VOL+ knob to auto-scan for the next available station.

Saving and Recalling Presets:

You can save your favorite stations for quick access.

1. To Save: Tune to the desired station. Press and hold the PRESET button. Rotate the SELECT/VOL+ knob to choose a preset number (e.g., P01-P20) and press the knob to confirm.
2. To Recall: Briefly press the PRESET button. Rotate the SELECT/VOL+ knob to select the desired preset number and press the knob to confirm.

6.2 Bluetooth Mode

Stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

1. Press the MODE button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "Bluetooth" and indicate pairing readiness.
2. On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "M-112 DBT" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the unit will confirm the connection. You can now play audio from your device through the M-112 DBT.

6.3 Alarm Clock

The unit features a dual alarm function, allowing you to set two separate alarms.

Setting an Alarm:

1. Press the ALARM button.
2. Rotate the SELECT/VOL+ knob to choose Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 and press the knob to confirm.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the alarm time, alarm source (Buzzer, DAB, or FM), volume, and frequency (daily, weekdays, weekends, once).
4. Ensure the alarm is set to "On" to activate it.

Snooze Function:

When an alarm sounds, press any button (except the Power button) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a short interval (typically 9 minutes).

Stopping an Alarm:

To turn off a sounding alarm, press the Power button. To disable an alarm permanently, go into the alarm settings and set it to "Off".

To maintain your Muse M-112 DBT in optimal condition:

• Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the unit away from dust and direct sunlight.
