Troubleshooting
- No Image/Black Screen: Ensure the otoscope is securely connected to your device. Verify that the correct application/software is open and running. Restart the application or your device if necessary.
- Blurry Image: Clean the otoscope lens thoroughly with an alcohol pad. Ensure the lens is free of dust, earwax, or smudges. Adjust the focus by slowly moving the otoscope closer or further from the object.
- LED Lights Not Working: Check the inline controller to ensure the lights are turned on and brightness is adjusted. If the issue persists, try connecting to a different USB port or device.
- Device Not Recognized: Ensure your device's operating system (Android 5.0+, Windows, Mac) is supported. Try connecting to a different USB port. Reinstall the application/software.
- Overheating: It is normal for the metal parts to get slightly warm during extended use. Always use the silicone case for ear inspections to prevent direct contact with warm surfaces. If the device becomes excessively hot, discontinue use and allow it to cool down.
