Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the AT&T DL72319 DECT 6.0 3-Handset Cordless Phone system. It covers setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your new phone system.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
- Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment.
- Place the battery pack into the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
2. Base Unit and Charger Connection
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into a telephone wall jack.
- Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the large end of the AC adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- For each additional handset, plug the small end of its AC adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the handset charger.
- Plug the large end of each handset charger's AC adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
3. Initial Charging
Place each handset in its respective base unit or charger. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use. The CHARGE indicator light on the handset will illuminate during charging.
Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Press HOME/FLASH or CELL, then dial the number.
- To Answer a Call: Press any dialing key (0-9, #, *), or HOME/FLASH or CELL.
- To End a Call: Press OFF/CANCEL or place the handset in the charger.
Connect to Cell™ Feature
This feature allows you to make and receive cellular calls using your AT&T cordless handsets. Up to two cell phones can be paired with the system.
- Ensure your cell phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
- On the cordless handset, press MENU/SELECT.
- Scroll to Bluetooth and press MENU/SELECT.
- Select Add Cell and follow the on-screen prompts to pair your cell phone.

Smart Call Blocker
The Smart Call Blocker helps filter unwanted calls. Robocalls are automatically blocked. You can also manually add numbers to a blacklist.
- To Block a Number During a Call: Press CALL BLOCK on the handset.
- To Block a Number from Caller ID History: Access Caller ID history, select the number, and choose the block option.

Digital Answering System
The integrated digital answering system can record up to 22 minutes of messages. Access messages from any handset or the base unit.
- To Play Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on the base unit or MENU/SELECT on a handset and navigate to Answering System.
- To Delete Messages: Press DELETE during message playback.

Phonebook and Caller ID
- Phonebook: Store up to 1,000 entries. You can also download contacts from a paired cell phone.
- Caller ID: The handset displays the caller's name and number if available.

Additional Features
- Speakerphone: Use the simulated full-duplex speakerphone on the handset for hands-free conversations.
- Intercom: Make internal calls between handsets.
- Siri, S Voice, Google Now Access: Access your smartphone's voice assistant directly from the cordless handset when connected via Bluetooth.
