  4. Charging time may vary, but typically takes a few hours. Do not leave batteries charging unattended for extended periods.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Pairing the Controller and Vehicle

The Maisto Overlander uses 2.4GHz technology for automatic pairing. Follow these steps:

  1. Ensure both the vehicle and the controller have fresh or fully charged batteries installed.
  2. Turn on the vehicle using the ON/OFF switch, usually located on the underside or side of the chassis.
  3. Turn on the remote controller using its ON/OFF switch.
  4. The controller and vehicle should automatically pair within a few seconds. A light on the controller may stop blinking or turn solid to indicate a successful connection.
  5. If pairing fails, turn both devices off and repeat the steps. Ensure they are within close proximity during pairing.

5.2. Driving the Vehicle

Once paired, you can control the vehicle using the remote controller:

  • Forward/Backward: Use the trigger on the controller. Pull the trigger towards you to move forward, and push it away from you to move backward.
  • Left/Right Steering: Use the steering wheel on the controller. Rotate the wheel left to turn the vehicle left, and right to turn the vehicle right.

Practice in an open area to get accustomed to the controls. The 2.4GHz system provides a longer range, but always keep the vehicle within sight for optimal control.
