Water Drainage

During dehumidification or prolonged cooling in humid conditions, water may collect in the unit. Periodically, you may need to drain this water. Locate the drain cap at the bottom rear of the unit, place a shallow pan or towel underneath, and remove the cap to allow water to drain. Re-secure the cap tightly after draining.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your unit, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Unit not cooling or blowing air: Ensure the exhaust hose is properly connected and sealed to the window kit. Check if the air filter is clean; a clogged filter can restrict airflow. Verify the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  • Unusual noises: A slight rattling or humming sound can be normal during operation. However, if the noise is excessive or unusual, check for any obstructions around the unit or ensure it is placed on a flat, stable surface.
  • Remote control not working: Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit's sensor.
