4. Setup

4.1. Assembling the Camera and Adapters

1. Identify the 0.5X C-mount adapter. This adapter can be separated into two parts: an 'A tube' for 23.2mm mounting and a 'B tube' for C-mount size.
2. If using a C-mount microscope, twist the 'B tube' directly into the microscope's C-mount port.
3. If using a 23.2mm eyepiece port, twist the 'A tube' into the 'B tube' first, then insert the assembled adapter into the 23.2mm eyepiece port.
4. For 30mm or 30.5mm eyepiece ports, use the corresponding adapter rings provided. Insert the 0.5X C-mount adapter (with or without the 'A tube' depending on the microscope type) into the appropriate adapter ring, then insert into the microscope.

4.2. Connecting to a Computer

1. Connect the USB cable to the camera's USB2.0 port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.

4.3. Software Installation

The camera requires specific software for full functionality, including image capture, video recording, and calibration. The software is compatible with Windows (WIN7/8/10) and Mac systems.

1. Insert the provided software CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive. If your computer does not have a CD/DVD drive, please visit the HAYEAR official website to download the latest software.

5.1. Live View and Focus Adjustment
