4.1 Front Panel Controls and Indicators

  • POWER: Main power switch for the unit.
  • VOLUME USB: Adjusts the output volume for USB audio.
  • VOLUME BT: Adjusts the output volume for Bluetooth audio.
  • BT POWER: Button to turn Bluetooth on/off.
  • RESET: Button to reset the device.

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the DI2750N is switched off.
  2. Connect the supplied USB cable to the USB port on the DI2750N.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB power adapter. The CHARGE LED will illuminate if the internal battery is charging.

5.2 Audio Output Connection

Connect the analog outputs of the DI2750N to your mixing console, audio interface, or amplifier using appropriate XLR cables (not included).

5.3 Headphone Connection

For monitoring, connect your headphones to the 3.5mm headphone output jack on the front panel.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 USB Audio Playback (Plug and Play)

  1. Connect the DI2750N to your computer via the USB cable.
  2. Turn on the DI2750N using the POWER switch.
  3. Your computer should automatically recognize the DI2750N as an audio output device without requiring additional drivers.
  4. Select "Alctron DI2750N" as your audio output device in your computer's sound settings or audio software.
  5. Adjust the output volume using the VOLUME USB knob.

6.2 Bluetooth Audio Playback

  1. Turn on the DI2750N using the POWER switch.
  2. Press the BT POWER button to activate Bluetooth. The STATUS LED will blink, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select "Alctron DI2750N" from the list to pair. The STATUS LED will become solid when successfully paired.
  5. Play audio from your device.
  6. Adjust the output volume using the VOLUME BT knob.

6.3 Mono/Stereo Switch

Use the MONO switch to toggle between stereo and mono output modes as required by your audio setup. In mono mode, both left and right channels are summed to a single mono signal.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the unit frequently. Charge the unit periodically if stored for a long time.

8. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No sound output (USB)
  • Device not powered on.
  • Incorrect audio output selected on computer.
  • USB cable faulty or disconnected.
  • Volume knobs set too low.
  • Ensure POWER switch is ON.
  • Select "Alctron DI2750N" as the audio output.
  • Check USB cable connection and try another port/cable.
  • Increase VOLUME USB knob.
No sound output (Bluetooth)
  • Bluetooth not activated or paired.
  • Device out of range.
  • Volume knobs set too low.
  • Press BT POWER, ensure STATUS LED is solid. Re-pair if necessary.
  • Move Bluetooth device closer to the DI2750N.
  • Increase VOLUME BT knob.
Distorted audio
  • Input signal too high.
  • Volume knobs set too high.
  • Reduce the input level from the source device.
  • Lower the VOLUME USB or VOLUME BT knob.
