5. Setup Guide
5.1. Mounting the Motor
Mount the 2435 brushless motor securely to your vehicle's motor mount using M2.5 screws. Ensure proper gear mesh between the motor pinion and the vehicle's spur gear. Refer to your vehicle's manual for specific mounting instructions.

5.2. Connecting the Motor to ESC
Connect the three motor wires from the brushless motor to the three corresponding wires on the ESC using the 3.5mm bullet connectors. The order of connection typically does not matter for sensorless motors, but if the motor spins in the wrong direction, swap any two of the three wires.

5.3. Connecting the ESC to Receiver
Plug the small servo-style connector from the ESC into the throttle channel (usually channel 2) of your RC receiver. Ensure the polarity is correct (signal, positive, negative).
5.4. Connecting the Battery
Connect your battery pack to the T-male power plug on the ESC. Ensure the battery's voltage and type (2S LiPo / 4-6S NiMh) are compatible with the ESC specifications. Incorrect battery connection or type can cause severe damage.

5.5. ESC Calibration
Before first use, or if you change your radio system, you must calibrate the ESC to your transmitter's throttle range. The exact procedure may vary slightly, but generally involves:
- Turn on your transmitter and ensure the throttle trim is at neutral.
- With the ESC off and battery connected, hold the ESC's power button (if available) or follow the specific power-on sequence while holding full throttle on your transmitter.
- Wait for a beep, then move the throttle to full brake/reverse.
- Wait for another beep, then return the throttle to neutral.
- Wait for a final beep, indicating successful calibration.
Refer to the ESC's specific manual (if provided separately) for detailed calibration steps.

6. Operating Instructions
Once the motor and ESC are properly installed and calibrated:
- Turn on your transmitter first, then connect the battery to the ESC and turn on the ESC.
- Slowly apply throttle to check for proper motor rotation and vehicle movement.
- Monitor motor and ESC temperatures during operation. If they become excessively hot, reduce run time or check for issues like incorrect gearing or binding drivetrain components.
- After use, turn off the ESC first, then disconnect the battery, and finally turn off your transmitter.
7. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect all wiring and connectors for signs of wear or damage.
- Keep the motor and ESC clean from dirt, dust, and moisture. Use compressed air or a soft brush for cleaning.
- Check motor bearings periodically for smooth operation. Replace if they feel rough.
- Ensure the motor's heatsink fins are free from obstructions to allow for proper cooling.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor not running / No response | Loose connections, uncalibrated ESC, dead battery, transmitter off. | Check all wiring, calibrate ESC, charge/replace battery, turn on transmitter. |
| Motor runs in wrong direction | Incorrect motor wire connection. | Swap any two of the three motor wires. |
| Motor/ESC overheating | Incorrect gearing, excessive load, insufficient cooling, prolonged high-throttle use. | Check gear mesh, reduce pinion size, ensure proper airflow, reduce run time. |
| Erratic operation / Glitching | Radio interference, loose receiver connection, low battery voltage. | Check radio system, secure receiver connection, ensure battery is fully charged. |
| Low power / Poor performance | Low battery, incorrect gearing, motor/ESC damage. | Charge battery, adjust gearing, inspect components for damage. |
