Setup

1. Battery Installation

Both the Main Machine (receiver) and Auxiliary Machine (transmitter) require 2 x AAA batteries each. Batteries are not included.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of both units.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into each unit, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Probe Connection

Connect the temperature probes to the Auxiliary Machine (transmitter).

3. Initial Power On

Press the LIGHT/O button on the Auxiliary Machine to power it on. The Main Machine will automatically connect to the Auxiliary Machine.

Operating Instructions

1. Temperature Unit Switching (℃/℉)

To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) temperature units:

2. Setting Target Temperature and Food Type

The thermometer allows you to set specific target temperatures and select pre-programmed food types for each probe.

  1. Press the MEAT button to cycle through different meat types (e.g., Beef, Poultry, Fish).
  2. Press the TASTE/O button to select the desired doneness level (e.g., Well, Medium, Rare).
  3. Alternatively, you can manually set a target temperature using the MODE button to select a probe, then use the SEC/▼ and MIN/▲ buttons to adjust the target temperature.

3. Using the Timer/Countdown Function

The device includes a timer function for convenience.

4. Backlight Operation

Troubleshooting
