2. Safety Instructions

3.2 Hose Connections
Connect the pool hoses to the pump's inlet and outlet ports. The pump features 1 1/2-inch threaded connections. Ensure all connections are tight and sealed to prevent air leaks, which can affect pump performance.

3.3 Priming the Pump
Before starting the pump for the first time, it must be primed with water to prevent dry running. Open the pre-filter lid and fill the pre-filter housing completely with water. Close the lid securely. Ensure the pool water level is sufficient for the pump to draw water.

4. Operating Instructions
Once the pump is properly installed and primed, you can begin operation.
- Power On: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The pump will start circulating water.
- Monitoring: Observe the water flow. A strong, consistent flow indicates proper operation. If the flow is weak or intermittent, check for air leaks, blockages, or insufficient water level in the pool.
- Run Time: The optimal run time depends on your pool size and usage. Generally, circulating the entire pool volume 1-2 times per day is recommended.
- Pre-filter Function: The integrated pre-filter captures coarse dirt and particles up to 3mm, protecting the pump impeller from damage. It is also suitable for adding chlorine tablets.

5.1 Cleaning the Pre-filter
The pre-filter basket should be inspected and cleaned regularly, depending on pool usage and debris levels. A dirty pre-filter can reduce pump performance.

- Open Pre-filter: Unscrew the transparent lid of the pre-filter housing.
- Remove Basket: Carefully lift out the filter basket.
- Clean: Rinse the basket thoroughly with water to remove all debris.
- Reassemble: Place the clean basket back into the housing, ensuring it sits correctly. Fill the housing with water, then securely close the lid.
5.2 General Inspection
