4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your Real Flame Redding Fire Bowl.

4.1 Placement

  • Choose a level, non-combustible surface for the fire bowl.

4.3 Lava Rock Placement

  • Carefully place the provided black lava rocks into the burner pan, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Do not cover the igniter or burner ports with lava rock.

5. Operating Instructions

This fire bowl uses a match-lit ignition system with a key valve for flame control.

5.1 Lighting the Fire Bowl

  1. Ensure the key valve is in the OFF position.
  2. Verify that the natural gas supply is properly connected and the gas supply is on.
  3. Position a long match or long butane lighter near the burner.
  4. Insert the valve key into the control panel.
  5. Slowly turn the key towards the ON position while simultaneously igniting the gas with your match/lighter.
  6. Once ignited, remove the match/lighter.
  7. Adjust the flame to the desired height using the key valve.

5.2 Turning Off the Fire Bowl

  1. Insert the key into the valve.
  2. Turn the valve to the OFF position.
  3. Once the flame is out, remove the key and turn off the natural gas at its source.
  4. Store the key in a safe location.
