Setup and Installation

Before you begin: Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape).

1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: This fixture is designed to mount to an existing junction box (junction box not included). Ensure the junction box is securely installed and capable of supporting the fixture's weight.
2. Attach Mounting Hardware: Secure the mounting bracket (from the hardware pack) to the junction box using the provided screws.
3. Make Electrical Connections: Carefully connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box.
   • Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting bracket.
   Secure all connections with wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape for added safety.
4. Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture's backplate with the mounting bracket and secure it with the decorative nuts or screws provided in the hardware pack.
5. Install Glass Shades: Gently screw the clear seeded glass globes onto the fixture's sockets. Do not overtighten.
6. Install Bulbs: Insert the recommended E26 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets.
7. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Your Craftmade Que vanity light is designed for straightforward operation.

• Power On/Off: Control the light using your standard wall switch.
• Bulb Requirements: This fixture uses two (2) medium base (E26) A-Type bulbs, up to 60 watts each. Compatible bulb types include Incandescent, CFL, Halogen, or LED.
• Dimming Functionality: If you wish to use the dimming feature, ensure you install dimmable bulbs and connect the fixture to a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately).
