Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi or app.
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz networks are not supported by some devices).
  • Check your Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location.
  • Verify your Wi-Fi password is entered correctly in the app.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and the camera.
  • Try resetting the camera to factory settings (refer to app for specific instructions).
"Camera Activated" notifications are frequent or random.
  • This can indicate intermittent power. Ensure the power cable is securely connected and not damaged.
  • If the camera was dropped, the power connection might be compromised.
Video feed is blurry, grainy, or black at night.
  • Ensure the camera lens is clean and free of dust or smudges.
  • For night vision issues, ensure there are no obstructions blocking the infrared LEDs.
  • Check your internet connection speed; a slow connection can affect video quality.
Two-way audio (microphone) is not working.
  • Ensure the microphone is not muted in the app.
  • Check your device's microphone permissions for the Hubble for Baby app.
  • Restart the app and the camera.
Camera view is incorrect or not pointing where it should.
  • Use the pan/tilt controls in the app to re-adjust the view.
  • If the camera was physically moved or bumped, manually re-position it if necessary.
