- SD Card Insertion: Locate the SD card slot on the scanner. Insert a compatible SD card (up to 32GB, Class 10 or higher) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage. The scanner requires an SD card to save scanned images.

Operating Instructions
The ClearClick Virtuoso 2.0 scanner operates independently, requiring no computer or drivers.

- For 110 Negatives: Insert the 110 adapter into the main holder. Load your 110 negative strip into the adapter, ensuring proper alignment.
- For 126 Negatives: Insert the 126 adapter into the main holder. Place your 126 negative strip into the adapter, ensuring it is flat and aligned.
- For 50x50mm Slides: Use the main holder without any adapters. Place your mounted 50x50mm slides into the designated slots in the main holder.
Scanning Process
- Insert Holder: Once your film or slides are loaded into the correct holder, gently slide the holder into the scanner's side slot.
- Preview on Screen: The image will appear on the 5-inch LCD screen. Use the navigation buttons to adjust the position of the film/slide within the holder to center the image.
- Adjust Settings (Optional): The scanner may offer options to adjust brightness, color balance (RGB), or exposure. Consult the on-screen menu for available adjustments.
- Capture Image: Press the 'OK' or 'Scan' button to capture the digital image. The scanner will process and save the image to the inserted SD card. Each photo typically takes 1-2 seconds to scan and save.
- Advance and Repeat: After scanning, remove the holder, advance to the next frame or slide, and re-insert the holder to continue scanning.
Viewing Scanned Photos
- On the Scanner: Use the scanner's navigation buttons to browse through the images saved on the SD card directly on the 5-inch LCD screen.
- On a Computer: Remove the SD card from the scanner and insert it into a computer's SD card reader. The images will be accessible as standard digital photo files.
- On a TV (Mini HDMI Output): Connect a Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable (not included) from the scanner to your television. This allows you to view scanned photos or even preview images as you scan on a larger screen.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your scanner.
- Cleaning the Lens: Use the provided cleaning brush to gently remove dust or debris from the scanner's lens and light source area. Avoid touching the lens directly with your fingers.
- Cleaning Holders: Keep the film and slide holders clean. Dust or smudges on the holders can appear in your scanned images. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe them.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the scanner with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, store the scanner and its accessories in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ClearClick Virtuoso 2.0 scanner, refer to the following common solutions:
- Scanner Not Powering On: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the power adapter, and that the power adapter is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Images Not Saving: Verify that a compatible SD card (32GB or less, Class 10 or higher) is correctly inserted into the scanner. Ensure the SD card is not full or write-protected. Try formatting the SD card (this will erase all data on the card).
- Poor Image Quality (Dust/Spots): Use the provided cleaning brush to clean the scanner's lens and light source. Also, ensure your film/slides and holders are free of dust and fingerprints.
- Image Appears Distorted or Off-Center: Ensure the film or slide is correctly loaded and aligned within its holder. Gently re-insert the holder into the scanner.
- No Image on TV via HDMI: Confirm the Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the TV. Ensure the TV input source is set to the correct HDMI port.
- Scanner Freezes or Behaves Erratically: Power off the scanner, disconnect the power, wait a few seconds, then reconnect and power on again.
