1. Introduction

2. Product Features

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Mounting the Light: Attach the SL150 III light body to a compatible light stand using the 360° rotatable U-shaped yoke. Secure it firmly by tightening the locking knob.
  2. Attaching the Reflector: Align the Bowens mount of the reflector with the light's mount. Insert and twist clockwise until it locks into place.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the light's power input and then to a suitable power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the control panel to turn the light on or off.

5.2 Brightness Adjustment

Rotate the dimmer knob on the control panel to adjust the light output from 0% to 100%. Alternatively, use the RC-A6 remote controller or the Godox Light App for wireless adjustment.

5.3 Silent Mode

For sound-sensitive environments, activate the Silent Mode by pressing the dedicated button on the control panel. This will turn off the cooling fan, eliminating noise at the expense of some light output. Ensure adequate ventilation when using Silent Mode for extended periods.

5.4 FX Special Effects

The SL150 III includes 8 preset special effects. Press the 'FX' button on the control panel or remote to cycle through effects like Flash, Storm, TV, and Broken Bulb. Adjust parameters as needed for desired intensity and speed.

5.5 Wireless Control (RC-A6 Remote / Godox Light App)

The light can be controlled wirelessly using the optional Godox RC-A6 remote controller or the Godox Light App (available for smartphones). Ensure the light and controller/app are set to the same channel and group for proper communication. The app allows for comprehensive control over brightness, effects, and other settings.

6. Compatibility

The Godox SL150 III features a Bowens mount, making it compatible with a wide range of light modifiers such as softboxes, beauty dishes, and snoots from various manufacturers. It also supports the Godox 2.4G wireless X system for remote control with the RC-A6 remote controller.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light body. For the reflector and other optical surfaces, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Ensure the protection cover is in place when not in use.
  • Handling: Handle the light with care to prevent damage to the LED chip or internal components. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Ventilation: Always ensure proper ventilation around the light during operation, especially when not in Silent Mode, to prevent overheating.

8. Troubleshooting
