Setup

Unpacking and Placement

Connecting Speakers

  • Selector Knob: Used to select the desired audio input source (Phono, CD, Tuner, TV/AUX, DAT/Tape).
  • Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall output volume level. Turn clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
  • Balance Knob: Adjusts the relative volume between the left and right channels. Turn left to increase left channel volume, right to increase right channel volume.
  • CD Direct Button: Provides a direct signal path from the CD input, bypassing certain processing circuits for purer audio quality.
  • DAT/Tape Monitor Button: Engages the monitor function for the connected DAT or tape deck, allowing you to listen to the source being recorded.

Basic Operation Sequence

  1. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Turn the Volume knob to its minimum setting.
  3. Press the Power button to turn on the amplifier.
  4. Use the Selector knob to choose your desired audio source (e.g., CD, Tuner).
  5. Start playback on your selected audio source.
  6. Slowly turn the Volume knob clockwise to achieve the desired listening level.
  7. Adjust Bass, Treble, and Balance as needed for your preferred sound.

Maintenance
