This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Sinopé TH1400WF Smart Wi-Fi Low Voltage Thermostat. This device is designed to provide precise temperature control for various low voltage heating systems, offering enhanced comfort and energy efficiency through smart features and connectivity.

The TH1400WF thermostat is compatible with hydronic heating systems, furnaces (without fan control), hydronic floor heating systems, baseboards activated by electronic or mechanical relays, fan-forced convectors, and electric floor heating systems (activated by a relay).

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Wiring Instructions

The TH1400WF thermostat is compatible with 3-wire installations. Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper connection. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding.

The terminal block on the back of the thermostat is labeled TB024B. Connect your low voltage heating system wires to the corresponding terminals:

  • C: Common wire
  • R: 24 VAC power
  • W1: Main heating output
  • W2: Auxiliary heating output (if applicable)
  • S1, S2: Sensor inputs (if applicable)

Ensure all connections are tight and secure. The maximum output is 1A at 24 VAC.

4.2 Mounting the Thermostat

  1. After wiring, carefully push excess wires back into the electrical box.
  2. Align the thermostat with the electrical box and secure it using the provided mounting screws.
  3. Ensure the thermostat is level and flush against the wall.
  4. Restore power at the circuit breaker. The thermostat display should illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

The thermostat features a clear digital display and two control buttons. The display shows the current time, indoor temperature, and outdoor temperature (if connected to an outdoor sensor or configured via the app).

Use the up and down buttons to adjust the desired setpoint temperature. The display will show the new setpoint temporarily before returning to the current temperature.

5.2 Wi-Fi Connectivity and Neviweb App

To unlock the full smart features of your thermostat, connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and use the Neviweb app. The Neviweb app allows you to control your thermostat remotely, view energy consumption, and set schedules.

  1. Download the Neviweb app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Create a Neviweb account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your TH1400WF thermostat to your account and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

6. Maintenance

The Sinopé TH1400WF thermostat requires minimal maintenance. Keep the thermostat clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the vents on the thermostat are not obstructed to allow for accurate temperature readings.

7. Troubleshooting
