Setup
- Battery Installation: Unscrew the bottom cap of the trimmer unit. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment. Replace the bottom cap and twist until securely fastened.
- Attaching the Trimmer Head: Select the desired trimmer head (nose/ear or eyebrow). Align the head with the main unit and twist gently until it clicks into place.
Operating Instructions
To turn the trimmer on, slide the power switch upwards. To turn it off, slide the switch downwards.
Trimming Nose Hair
- Ensure the nose/ear trimmer head is attached.
- Gently insert the trimmer tip into your nostril, no deeper than 5mm.
- Move the trimmer in a circular motion to cut unwanted hairs.
- Avoid pressing the trimmer too firmly against the skin.
Trimming Ear Hair
- Ensure the nose/ear trimmer head is attached.
- Carefully guide the trimmer around the outer edge of your ear and into the ear canal, no deeper than 5mm.
- Use gentle, sweeping motions to remove hair.
Trimming Eyebrow Hair
- Attach the eyebrow comb to the nose/ear trimmer head. Choose between the two comb sizes for your desired hair length.
- Comb your eyebrows in the direction of hair growth.
- Gently move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth to trim to the desired length.

Maintenance and Cleaning
The Philips Series 3000 Trimmer is showerproof, making cleaning simple and convenient.
- After Each Use: Turn off the trimmer. Remove the trimmer head by twisting it off. Rinse the trimmer head under warm running water to remove any trimmed hairs.
- Drying: Shake off excess water from the trimmer head and allow it to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.
- Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water.
- Storage: Store the trimmer with its protective cap on in the provided pouch to keep it clean and protected.
Troubleshooting
- Trimmer not turning on: Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity. Replace batteries if they are depleted.
- Reduced trimming performance: The trimmer head may be clogged with hair. Clean the trimmer head thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure the blades are free from debris.
- Pulling or tugging sensation: This may indicate dull blades or excessive hair buildup. Clean the trimmer head. If the issue persists, consider replacing the trimmer head.
