  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the connections and components for any signs of damage or wear.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your converter, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:

  • No Display/No Output:
    • Ensure the input power source is connected correctly and providing voltage within the 3.5V-12V range.
    • Check if the display is turned off (long press the ON/OFF button to toggle).
    • Check if the output is turned off (short press the ON/OFF button to toggle).
    • Verify all connections are secure.
  • Incorrect Output Voltage:
    • Adjust the potentiometer carefully. It is a multi-turn potentiometer, so several turns may be needed for significant changes.
    • Ensure your multimeter (if used for verification) is calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Output Power Limitations:
    • Remember the output power limits: within 2W for 1.2V-2V output, within 3W for 2V-20V output, and within 2.5W for 20V-24V output. Exceeding these limits can cause instability or damage.
    • Reduce the load if the module is overheating or performing erratically.
