The top surface of the projector features a smart touch panel for intuitive control. This includes a trackpad area for navigation, volume controls, home button, menu button, return button, and fine/coarse focus controls.

  • Direction Navigation & OK: For menu navigation and selection.

  • Homepage, Menu, Return: Quick access to main functions.
  • Mouse Mode: Activates a cursor for easier navigation, especially with apps.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Mode: Hold "OK" and "Volume -" for five seconds to initiate pairing.

4. Setup

4.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the projector, slide open the lens cover. The projector will automatically power on. To power off, slide the lens cover closed. There is no dedicated power button on the unit itself; the lens cover acts as the power switch.

4.2. Focus Adjustment

The projector features electronic focus adjustment. Use the dedicated focus controls on the top panel or the remote control to achieve a clear image. The focus can be fine-tuned for optimal clarity.

For optimal viewing, position the projector at a distance of 2 to 2.5 meters from the projection surface. This distance typically yields a screen size of 70-75 inches, which is recommended for the best experience. The projector supports auto keystone correction to adjust for angled projections.

The AMOOWA P150G offers various ways to connect to your devices:

  • Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G): Connect to your home network for internet access and online streaming.
  • Bluetooth: Pair with external Bluetooth speakers or headphones for enhanced audio.
  • HDMI: Use an HDMI cable to connect to laptops, gaming consoles (e.g., Nintendo Switch, PS4), or other HDMI-enabled devices.
  • USB: Plug in a USB drive to play media files directly.
  • Screen Mirroring (iOS/Android/iPad): Wirelessly display content from your smartphone or tablet. Ensure your device and the projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. For iOS, use AirPlay. For Android, use Miracast.

Note on Screen Mirroring:

Due to copyright restrictions, certain streaming services (e.g., Netflix, Hulu) may not support screen mirroring from mobile devices. Content from these services can typically be accessed directly through the projector's built-in apps or by connecting a compatible device via HDMI.

5.1. Navigation and App Access

The projector runs on an Android OS with multiple pre-installed applications, including YouTube, Netflix, Google Play, and AptoideTV. Navigate through the interface using the top panel's touch controls or the remote control.
