2.2 Battery Installation

  2. Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3-8 digit personal code on the keypad.
  3. Press the "#" or "E" button to confirm. You will hear a confirmation beep.

3. Operating the Safe

3.1 Opening the Safe

There are three primary methods to open your AEGIS safe:

  • Using the Digital Code: Enter your personal 3-8 digit code, then press "#" or "E". The green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
  • Using the Emergency Key: Insert the emergency key into the keyhole on the keypad panel. Turn the key clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob clockwise to open the door. This method bypasses the digital keypad.
  • Emergency Power with Digital Code: If the batteries are dead and you don't have the emergency key, connect a USB-C cable (not included) to the emergency power port on the keypad. This will temporarily power the keypad. Enter your digital code, then press "#" or "E", and turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
