Product Overview

The Eoxsmile HOLA-CR1001E is a 7.5-inch digital alarm clock designed for clear visibility and ease of use. It features a large LED display with 1.8-inch white digits, dual alarms, a 5-level dimmer, and a USB charging port.

Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the provided USB cable to the DC jack on the back of the alarm clock.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard AC 100-240V wall outlet. The clock display will illuminate.

Note: The clock requires continuous AC power for all functions, including the display and USB charging. The power adapter is 5V/2A.

2. Battery Backup Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
2. Insert two (2) 1.5V 'AAA' batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Note: The batteries serve as a backup for time and alarm settings during a power outage. The display will go blank, and other functions will not operate when running on battery backup alone, but the alarm will still sound at the scheduled time.

3. Initial Time Setting

Upon first power-up or after a prolonged power loss without battery backup, the time may need to be set. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for detailed steps on setting the time.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Time (12/24H & DST)

• Locate the 'TIME SET' button (or similar) on the top or back of the clock.
• Press and hold the 'TIME SET' button to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
• Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the hour.
• Press 'TIME SET' again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. Adjust minutes with '+' or '-' buttons.
• Press 'TIME SET' a third time to exit time setting.
• To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, short press the '12/24H' button.
• To activate/deactivate Daylight Saving Time (DST), long press the 'DST' button.

2. Setting Dual Alarms

The clock supports two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).

• Press the 'ALARM 1' button (or 'ALARM 2' for the second alarm). The alarm hour digits will flash.
• Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
• Press 'ALARM 1' (or 'ALARM 2') again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. Adjust minutes with '+' or '-' buttons.
• Press 'ALARM 1' (or 'ALARM 2') a third time to activate the alarm and exit setting mode. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
• To turn off a sounding alarm for the day, press 'ALARM PAUSE'. The alarm will sound again the next day.
• To completely deactivate an alarm, press and hold 'ALARM OFF' until the alarm icon disappears from the display.

3. Adjusting Alarm Volume

The alarm volume can be adjusted to 4 levels (70dB, 75dB, 80dB, 85dB).

• Locate the 'Vol+' and 'Vol-' buttons on the side of the clock.
• Press 'Vol+' to increase the alarm volume or 'Vol-' to decrease it.

4. Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the large 'SNOOZE' button on the top of the clock to pause the alarm for an additional 9 minutes of sleep. The snooze function can be repeated.

5. Display Dimmer

The display brightness can be adjusted to 5 levels.

• Locate the 'DIMMER' button (often represented by a sun icon) on the top of the clock.
• Press the 'DIMMER' button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 brightness levels.

6. USB Charging Port

The clock includes a USB output charging port on the back for charging external devices.

• Connect your smartphone, tablet, or other USB-powered device to the USB charging port using its charging cable.
• The device will begin charging.

Note: The USB charging port requires the alarm clock to be connected to AC power to function.

Maintenance

• Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Ensure the clock is placed on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidental falls.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Display is blank.

Solution: Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the clock and a working wall outlet. If using battery backup, the display is designed to be blank to conserve power; it will only show time when AC power is restored.

Problem: Alarm does not sound.

Solution: Verify that the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display). Check the alarm volume setting and ensure it is not set to the lowest level or muted. If running on battery backup, ensure batteries are fresh and correctly installed.

Problem: USB charging port is not working.

Solution: Confirm that the alarm clock is connected to AC power. The USB charging function is not supported when the clock is running on battery backup only.

Problem: Time is incorrect after a power outage.

Solution: Ensure fresh AAA batteries are installed for backup. If no batteries or depleted batteries were present, reset the time manually as per the 'Setting Time' instructions.
