Setup
Connect the USB Receiver: Locate the USB receiver stored in the magnetic compartment on the underside of the mouse. Remove it and plug it into an available USB port on your computer. For optimal signal strength and to avoid interference, especially in environments with multiple wireless devices, use the included extension adapter to position the receiver closer to the mouse.

Install Logitech G HUB Software (Recommended): For full customization of buttons, DPI settings, and to monitor battery life, download and install the Logitech G HUB software from the official Logitech G website (www.logitechg.com/ghub). This software is compatible with Windows 8 or later and macOS 10.11 or later.
Optional Grip Tape Application: If desired, apply the included grip tape to the mouse for enhanced grip and comfort. Ensure the mouse surface is clean and dry before application.
Operating Instructions
Basic Usage:
- Left and Right Click: Standard mouse buttons for primary interactions.
- Scroll Wheel: Used for vertical scrolling and can also function as a middle click button.
- Side Buttons: Two buttons located on the left side of the mouse (default functions are Forward and Back in web browsers). These can be customized via G HUB.
Customization with G HUB:
The Logitech G HUB software allows you to personalize your mouse settings extensively:
- Button Assignments: Reassign functions to any of the 5 programmable buttons, including macros, system commands, and media controls.
- DPI Sensitivity: Adjust the mouse's sensitivity (DPI) from 100 to 25,600 DPI. You can set multiple DPI levels and switch between them for different tasks or games.
- Profiles: Create and save custom profiles for different applications or games. G HUB can automatically switch profiles when you launch a specific application.
- Report Rate: Configure the report rate (polling rate) to optimize responsiveness.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Charging: Connect the included charging/data cable to the front port of the mouse and to a USB power source. The mouse can be used while charging. A full charge provides up to 70 hours of battery life.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life. Store it in a cool, dry place.
- PTFE Feet: The PTFE feet are designed for durability. If they show significant wear over time, replacement feet are available.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Mouse not responding/connecting | Low battery; USB receiver not properly connected; Interference; Mouse is off. | Charge the mouse; Ensure USB receiver is firmly plugged in, preferably using the extension adapter to bring it closer to the mouse; Turn the mouse ON; Reduce wireless interference from other devices. |
Cursor skipping or erratic movement | Dirty sensor; Uneven surface; Wireless interference. | Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse; Use the mouse on a clean, uniform surface (e.g., a mouse pad); Relocate the USB receiver using the extension adapter to minimize interference. |
Buttons not functioning as expected | Incorrect G HUB settings; Software glitch. | Check button assignments in Logitech G HUB software; Restart G HUB or your computer. |
Short battery life | Frequent usage; High report rate settings. | Ensure the mouse is fully charged; Adjust report rate settings in G HUB if not needed for competitive gaming. |
